As part of the Making Kin exhibition, inspired by Donna Haraway’s book Staying With The Trouble; Making Kin in the Chthulucene, this dinner explored connectivity and kinship through the act of constructing a meal collectively – ingredient by ingredient. Attendees were asked to come on their own, with an openness to get their hands dirty and engage with the newly acquainted. Orchestrated in collaboration with Kira Lillie, this experience coalesced into a communal meal, through a mingling with organic elements and a celebrated the cultivation of new kin.
